🌲 Forest Therapy Fall Session 2 🌲

Date: Saturday, November 8th, 2025
Time: 9am - 11am
Location: Kenmore, WA
Meet at Herban Wellness for carpooling.

As autumn paints the Washington forests in shades of gold, crimson, and evergreen, we invite you to step away from the busyness of daily life and slow down in nature’s embrace. This guided forest therapy experience offers a gentle, mindful way to connect with the season, the land, and yourself.

Forest therapy, or Wild Forest Bathing (Yasei Shinrin Yoku), or forest bathing, is a practice of intentional time spent in the woods that nourishes body, mind, and spirit. Together, we will move at a relaxed pace, explore grounding invitations, and open our senses to the crisp October air, the shifting colors, and the quiet wisdom of the forest.

This is not a hikeβ€”it’s a restorative experience where slowing down is the point. You’ll have space to reflect, share, and simply be, held by the community of others who also feel called to connect with nature at this turning of the seasons.

Through soft tools, exercises and meditations, you'll experience the benefits of forest therapy:

  • Improved mood
  • Enhanced vitality
  • Lowered blood pressure
  • Immune boosting activation
  • Lowered cortisol
  • Heightened focus, memory and cognitive skills

Whether you’re seeking stress relief, seasonal renewal, or a deeper sense of belonging to the natural world, this experience is designed to help you root into the beauty and stillness of autumn.

Come dressed for the weather, bring a journal if you wish, and prepare to leave refreshed, grounded, and more connected.

Guide Bio

Lindsey Walker received her training at The Wildcraft Forest School in British Columbia. Yasi shinrin yoku (or wild forest bathing) values that our health, sense of purpose, and overall well-being are directly related to the efforts we do to support the forest - the practice considers that we and the forest are "one" and that through this presence, a genuine, harmonious energy balance that mutually enhances both the individual and the natural world exists.Β

Lindsey is additionally a Clinical Holistic Herbalist and a Microdose and Psychedelic Integration Coach. Through her private practice, Mockingbird Grove, as well as Managing Herbalist and Practitioner at Herban Wellness, Lindsey approaches healing with a nature-based perspective and guides individuals and groups closer to balance through connecting with nature. She helps restore vitality by considering the whole person, and any existing root causes. She adheres to the belief that creating a relationship with the natural world leads to attaining the ultimate in health and spiritual benefits.Β

Cancellation Policy
Due to the intimate size of our class groups, we kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for any cancellations. This allows us to offer your spot to someone if there is a waitlist, gives the facilitator adequate preparation awareness, and ensures a balanced experience for all participants. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to the full class fee.

Walk Preparation
The walk in totality will be relatively short. Consider anything you usually would hike or camp with - bugspray, sunscreen, comfortable shoes, water, etc. . Registrants will be emailed again closer to the class date with any further preparation notes. Please be sure to include the correct email address that you wished to be reached at prior to the event.Β

*This walk differs than the 10/8/25 walk in location, topics, and theme.
