Do you struggle with falling asleep? Or, do you wake up regularly and cant get back to sleep? Do you have regular nightmares or restless dreams? Do you wake up exhausted or groggy? Join us for a free workshop, limited to the first 15 registrants.
Welcome to our first installment of wellness workshops at Herban Wellness with Clinical Herbalist, Nicole Telkes. This workshop offer ssimple ways to get better sleep using breath work, meditation, food, lifestyle and of course, herbs! You will:
-Be introduced to the concept of sleep hygiene
-Learn a few simple breathing techniques and meditations
-Important information about popular supplements
-What imbalances in the body can create disrupted sleep
-6 herbs that help with sleep.
Participants will have the opportunity to purchase the herbs we discuss at the end of the class.
Nicole will also be doing a book signing this evening for her book entitled Herbcraft: The Complete Guide to 21st Century Herbalism which will be available for purchase at Herban Wellness.
Nicole Telkes RH(AHG), is an award-winning practicing herbalist, author, and clinical mentor. She has a background in botanical studies, plant conservation work, community activism, and herbal first-aid clinics. She wrote the books Medicinal Plants of Texas and Herbcraft: The complete guide to 21st century holistic western herbalism. Nicole manages a United Plant Savers Botanical Sanctuary and Apiary, and currently supervises the gardens at Bastyr University. She is the founder and lead instructor at the Wildflower School of Botanical Medicine, founded in 2003. She is best known for her work freeing fire cider as one of the Fire Cider 3.
Due to the popularity of free classes, in order to sign up, you must commit to being there or contact us at least 24 hours in advance in order to be able to give your space to those on our waitlist. Any participant who signs up and simply does not show up, will not be able to attend the rest of the free class series.
